Art project

I visited the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek as part of a class trip to the Danish capital Copenhagen. Here I made a photoscan of one of the classic sculptures featured at the museum, with the goal of reusing existing art in a new way, and thereby bringing work from the past into the modern age. 

The material glass was selected because it replicates the fragility of history. A sculpture from the past, is easily forgotten in the modern age we live in. This project helps us appreciate the work of yesterday in a new and abstract way, while paying respect to the originals.
